:: Inspiration for 2004 Halloween Card

The image that appeared on my 2004 Halloween card is the result of my imagination and an unusual lighting phenomenon in our dining room. One night I turned to Matt and said, "Have you ever seen those six girls on our ceiling?" After a moment of bemused silence, he slowly looked up and said, "Oh, my god . . ."

Our chandelier makes a shadow that looks like six ponytailed girls chained to the light. I haven't quite gotten to the point that I have named them or believe that they're ghosts, but it creeps me out nonetheless. Don't just take my word for it, see for yourself:
