Gathering my supplies in the garage: spray paint, brushes, gesso, newspapers.
The space-scape was created with spray paint and gesso.
I needed some accent splotches of color, so I created those separately with pastel.
My perpetual helper, Moody.
I photograph all my art elements outside, preferably on an overcast day.
The skull was drawn with chalk pastel.
I printed out a picture of a clock face and traced the elements on my lightboard.
Next, I smudged pastel on the clock face to give it a weathered look.
I set up dominoes on the light board and photographed them to use directly on the cover.
Putting it all together in Photoshop.
