Ok, let me just say upfront that I don't know anything about the history of the cemetery behind the old Western State Lunatic Asylum.  I'm not sure who is buried there or who takes care of it now.  I would assume that the graves are of past patients who died while in residence. 

There is a sign on Richmond Road that says "Original Cemetery."  This road doesn't lead to the cemetery, but it might have in the past.  Perhaps this is marking where the original cemetery was? 

The creepiest thing about this graveyard is that most of the graves are unmarked.  They are identical and evenly spaced and . . . blank.
