In May of 1998, Deena Warner graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. She has been employed as a graphic designer, newspaper editor, and proofreader. She currently lives in Staunton, Virginia, with her husband, Matthew Warner, and two loving felines.

An active participant in the publishing community, Deena has displayed her artwork at conventions in New York City and Phoenix. She has illustrated for Earthling Publications, Cemetery Dance Publications, Medium Rare Books, Mindscape Pictures, Undaunted Press, Lone Wolf Publications, and Diegesis magazine. She's been featured by such outlets as Cthulhu Sex Magazine and Horror Reader. She has also designed websites for the Jazz Museum in Harlem, Horror World, and authors such as Gary Braunbeck, Richard Dansky, and Tim Waggoner.
